Some cruise ship port in Indonesia
As an archipelagic country, Indonesia has become one of the favorite excursion destinations in Asia. Until now there are 24 cruise company entering Indonesia. In 2014 alone, there were 214,000 domestic tourists entering Indonesia through cruises.
This was stated by Director of Development Special Interest Tourism, Conventions, Incentives and Events Tourism Ministry, Achyaruddin. From about 70 ports, there are several ports into a cruise ship berths in Indonesia.
"The port which can be directly infestation is Tanjung Benoa (Bali), Tanjung Mas (Semarang), Belawan (Medan), Tanjung Perak (Surabaya), Tanjung Priok (Jakarta), and Makassar," said Achyaruddin in an interview with detikTravel, Thursday (5 / 3/2015).
Some ports, further Achyaruddin, can serve the cruise ships loaded with up to 2,000 people. In some other popular locations, the ship must be put anchor and can not directly lean.
"Some of the locations that should anchor the Sheet (NTB), Land Village (Bali), Kumai (Central Kalimantan). As for dragons, ships must anchor a maximum of 500 passengers," he added.
Some cruises are a favorite destination of Papua, Sulawesi, Bali, Java, NTT, Maluku, and Sumatra.
